Bongo star Naseeb Abdul alias Diamond Platnumz today morning appeared in a Tanzanian court for allegedly failing to pay child support.
Diamond was accused by socialite Hamisa Mobeto for failing to provide for their son who is soon turning a year old.
Hamisa Mobetto’s case against her baby daddy, had earlier been thrown out by the Children’s’ Court in Dar es Salaam for allegedly filing the case under the wrong Children’s Act description.
She was demanding a monthly upkeep pf Sh230,000 for the son she had with him after an affair. The matter seems to have taken a fresh turn this morning as the case seems to have been reopened.
Diamond appeared in a court in Kisutu in Dar es salaam to answer to the charges.
The case comes barely days after the socialite and her mother declared they wanted nothing to do with him.
