The nominees for this year’s Radio and TV personality awards were unveiled on Saturday night at Radisson blue hotel in Upper hill.
The ceremony which was attended by Nigerian super star D’banj saw Ghetto Radio scoop some of the most sort after nominations in four categories.
Ghetto Radio’s Goteana show which airs every weekdays from 2 to 4 pm received nomination in Fresh hour show category, Best reggae show award and DJ Bling and Bonoko who host the show got nominated for Dj of the year award and male presenter of the year respectively.
Ghetto radio also received a nomination for radio station of the year award.
The annual Radio and Television personality awards gala will be held at the Raddison Blue hotel on the 24th of March and will have performances by Yemi Alade, D’banj and Timaya.
This is the first time the gala’s which have always been hosted by Nigeria and Ghana are being held in Kenya
The voting process for the awards are yet to be unveiled.
