The past two weeks has seen social media awash with claims that Pastor Alex Ominde of House of Favour worship church in Kayole is mistreating his wife,gospel artiste Mary Atieno Ominde.
According to posts that were circulating on some of Facebook’s closed groups, the pastor is alleged to be starving his wife and cheating on her with a woman who allegedly lives in umoja two estate.
The ‘adamu na eve’ hit maker however denied the claims in a video that was uploaded on Facebook. The singer claims she is still together with her husband and living just okay but neighbors and relatives deny that all is well.
Pastor Ominde also shared a video saying all is well in their marriage and that the claims doing rounds are false but some of the online users attacked him calling him a lair.
“Ominde stop lieing. I see you everyday with your second wife In Umoja 3 with whom you have child with recently, I don’t know about her other child who you pick every day from tender care academy in umoja 1 behind benrose, could it be you are the biological father?. If pastors are polygamists and still call the name of the Lord in vain then am afraid.
Remember I know where you live with this girl.” said one Becky S Georges.
“The guy is involved in an affair with a lady called Dianna who stays few metres from thre home. They even got a baby…look for Dianna ,DNA pap.” said another user
Online critics also say that the singer may have been coerced to record the video and even her body language portrays fear.
In the wake of this allegations, Kenyans have called on FIDA Kenya to follow up on the case and find the truth on the claims.
FIDA is yet to give a statement regarding the mater.
