The internet was once shaken after word spread that a 29- year old Kenyan businessman had treated himself,friends and family to a 40 million birthday party.
Well, Kshs 40 million?? Okay.
Since then Steve Mbogo has had his good share of controversy and his name popping on headlines for mostly wrong reasons. What many do not know is that Steve is the President of all public University in Kenya. I mean, the flamboyant SONU president one Babu Owino is under him!
He is the Patron.
Steve was once branded as a fraud and fake billionaire by the mouthy Njoki Chege. A lot has been said about his wealth being fake but infobare.com says otherwise;

How true this is….i cannot tell. But as the old adage goes, “A man is not his wealth but family”.
With the realisation of truth in that saying, Steve who is vying for an MP seat in Starehe Constituency has lately been fond of sharing light moments with his family.
Married to KTN’s hunkiest presenter one Jamal Gaddafi’s sister, the two have two kids together the newborn just a few months old.
Rumors has it that Mbogo’s “pointee” wife is an air hostess with Qatar Airways.
